About SHIELD of VALOR
Welcome to SHIELD of VALOR, a movement born from a life transformed by God’s grace and a passion to forge strong, courageous, and fearless men for Christ. I’m Andre Brian Falco-Jimenez, a 63-year-old retired Anaheim police officer, K9 trainer, and founder of Falco K9 Academy. My journey hasn’t been easy—growing up as a latchkey kid in La Mirada, California, I hustled through jobs from age 14, chased fleeting pleasures, and faced crushing lows, including a moment in 1985 when despair nearly ended my life. But God had other plans, pulling me from the edge and, in 2019, leading me to surrender fully to Him. Through trials—divorces, a business collapse, prostate cancer, and a near-fatal Covid battle—I’ve learned that true strength comes from faith, not bravado.

As a father of six—Courtney, Kelly, Rae, Zahra, Rhett, and Beau, I’ve fought to guide my family through a culture that undermines godly manhood. Alongside my wife, Hedieh, a pillar of faith and wisdom, I co-lead Resurrect Ministry and Living Fearless Devotional, sharing the gospel globally. Our blended family, rooted in Christ, inspires my mission to mentor men and boys, drawing from the biblical example of Joseph, who rose from betrayal to save nations, and the influence of leaders like Jack Hibbs (CCCH), Bob Kopeny (CCEA), Mark Driscoll (Trinity Church), John MacArthur, Paul Washer, and Voddie Baucham.

SHIELD of VALOR—Strength, Honor, Inspiration, Endurance, Leadership, Devotion of Virtue, Assurance, Love, Obedience, Redemption—is my response to a world where men often shy away from leading families, sharing faith, or standing firm. I created this program to train fathers, single men, and young guys to be warriors who fear God, proclaim the eternal gospel, and live for His glory. Through workshops, retreats, Bible studies, service projects, and gritty challenges, SHIELD equips men to reject self-centered living and embrace a Christ-centered purpose, rooted in God’s sovereignty, forgiveness, discipline, community, and truth.

My purpose is simple: to raise a generation of hard men who endure trials, lead with integrity, and redeem their corners of the world for Christ. Hedieh and I, alongside our family, are committed to this mission, believing that no pit is too deep for God’s redemption. Join us to become a SHIELD bearer—living boldly, loving fiercely, and shining as a beacon in a broken world. As Jeremiah 29:11 promises, God has “plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.” Let’s forge that future together.
